About The Position

As a Plant Operator at Airgas, you will be responsible for loading and packaging dry ice daily while adhering to quality standards. You will also be expected to comply with all safety and quality policies and procedures. The role includes various clean-up functions and other duties as required, emphasizing the importance of performing tasks safely and in accordance with established Airgas policies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• One (1) year experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, commissions, proportions, and percents.
• Able to read and write.
• Able to understand and follow the direction of supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Load and package dry ice daily in accordance with quality standards.
• Comply with all safety and quality policies and procedures.
• Perform clean-up functions including sweeping, washing, painting, trash removal, and pick-up.
• Follow any other reasonable instructions and perform related duties as required by the supervisor.
