About The Position

Airgas is Hiring for a Plant Operator II in Eugene, OR! We are looking for you! Operate and monitor dry ice production equipment to meet daily volume targets, ensuring product quality and proper storage/packaging. Perform filling of compressed gas cylinders (high pressure and liquid) in accordance with established SOPs and production schedules. Connect and disconnect cylinders from manifolds; monitor pressure and weight to ensure accurate filling. Strictly adhere to all Airgas safety rules, OSHA regulations, and FDA guidelines (for medical gas handling). Conduct pre-fill inspections of cylinders for defects, requalification dates, and proper labeling. Maintain a clean and organized workspace (5S standards) to prevent hazards in the high-traffic palletizing zones. Accurately record production data, including lot numbers and fill quantities, into the plant inventory system. Perform quality control checks on finished dry ice and gas products prior to releasing them for shipping.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments.
  • Must be able to work in a drug free workplace.
