About The Position

This is a full-time position responsible for the operations of stationary engines and mechanical equipment such as chillers, compressors, generators, and steam boilers. This equipment is necessary to provide utilities such as lights, heat, ventilation, medical gases, and power for refrigeration, air conditioning, and other services to the facility.

Requirements

• GED or High School Diploma.
• 1-2 years of experience in building maintenance or central plant operations.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Ability to inspect equipment or systems and identify conditions requiring correction.
• Working knowledge of common hand tools, general safety, blueprints, and schematic diagrams.
• Ability to interpret instructions.
• Basic working knowledge of electricity and distribution systems.
• Ability to perform basic mechanical, carpentry, and plumbing repairs.

• Ensure the proper functioning of chillers, compressors, generators, and steam boilers.
