Requirements

  • Experience in plant/facility production, quality control, and maintenance.
  • Willingness to operate material handling equipment.
  • Ability to repetitively bend and lift boxes and bags up to 80 lbs.
  • Good computer, math, and organizational skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge and/or experience with agricultural operations.
  • Willingness to work overtime hours during busy seasons.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to enter data with a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in all aspects of plant operations and warehouse operations duties.
  • Stocking and retrieving package and bulk containers.
  • Operate material handling equipment including forklift, order picker, pallet jack, and other equipment as required.
  • Batch Plant Operation: Properly interpret, and create seed batch sheets, create custom fertilizer blends, properly label all custom blends, fill tanks and trucks as needed.
  • Coordinate with dispatcher scheduling of all outgoing fertilizer deliveries.
  • Manage all bulk fertilizer tanks (liquid levels, labeling, maintenance, etc.).
  • Contribute to tank farm cleanliness and upkeep.
  • Support waste-water management.
  • Assist with shop repair work and equipment maintenance when needed.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring no product leaves, or enters the warehouse without the necessary paperwork.
