Under the direction of the CEO or Plant Operations Manager, performs all maintenance duties associated with the daily operation of the physical plant and assists with construction and/or remodeling projects as directed by the CEO or Plant Operations Manager. Responsible for participating in any required training programs to further his/her knowledge of physical plant operations, maintenance, and safety. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with some college or trade school.
  • Must have the skills needed to perform the tasks outlined in this job description, and demonstrate the ability to learn them.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of loading and unloading.
  • Must be available for evening and weekend call when necessary.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to read, understand and demonstrate knowledge of the Hospital’s safety program and participate in any safety training exercises conducted by the Safety Committee.
  • Ability to work with other people in courteous manner.
