About The Position

This job description is a combination of duties within the plant operations. Responsible for preventive maintenance, repair, and service of selected PHO and departmental general equipment, electrical equipment, mechanical, and plumbing. Performs selected cleaning tasks, and tasks to care for the interior and exterior environment of the facility. Involved with departmental moves. Performs a number of tasks in all PHO facilities. Performs tasks to care for facilities grounds and lawns. Join our Plant Operations team where you'll play a key role in keeping our facilities safe, reliable, and looking their best. This hands‑on position offers variety-from maintaining mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to supporting grounds care, completing interior repairs, and assisting with projects across all PHO locations. We're seeking someone mechanically inclined, dependable, and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Business or Commercial mechanical, technical, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, carpentry experience strongly preferred.
  • Has a mechanical aptitude.
  • Has basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC system.
  • Is proficient in interpreting drawings, blue prints, details and specifications.
  • Is able to work flexible hours and to take call.
  • Is able to be flexible with tasks.
  • Is able to operate vehicles, including skid loader, skid loader with broom, lawn mowers, and salt spreader (has a valid driver's license).

Nice To Haves

  • Vo-Tech diploma in electrical or plumbing preferred
