Plant Mechanic | Grafton WesTrac Grafton is seeking experienced Mobile Plant/Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join their team as a workshop mechanic. As a Plant Mechanic at WesTrac, you can expect to utilise your mechanical expertise to inspect, maintain, and repair a range of Caterpillar equipment. With a key focus on safety, you will work alongside a skilled team of technicians to ensure our customers get the most from their machines and ensure minimal machine downtime. Roster and Remuneration Roster: Monday to Friday Day Shift Hours: 8-hour days, 7:30am-4pm Hourly rates from $42.57 + super Rates above are a guide only, and each candidate will be assessed based on competencies and experience

Requirements

Australia recognised Mechanical Trade qualification
Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment or similar OEM
Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
Attention to detail with the ability to perform tasks to meet Caterpillar quality standards
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
Successful applicants will be required to complete a satisfactory National Criminal History Check as part of the recruitment process.
