About The Position

As Propane Plant Manager, this position safely and productively oversees propane storage facility operations to ensure safe and efficient operation of the facility, maintenance, and inventory control. This position provides leadership in support of the Dead River Company Brand Promise, Customer Guarantees and Pledges, and Co-worker Guarantees and Pledges.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
• Previous management experience is preferred.
• Applicable propane CETP certification is required for propane plant workers.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and participates in the maintenance of the bulk plant to ensure an efficient and safe operation.
• Supervises and assists with the offloading of propane from rail cars.
• Maintains inventory records of propane and any propane related parts and equipment.
• Hires and evaluates performance of bulk plant workers, as needed.
• Coordinates inventory requirements with Manager, Supply and Logistics.
• Gains knowledge of codes and regulations relating to the proper storage and handling of propane gas.
• Acquires and maintains appropriate certification as necessary.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
