The position involves actively analyzing Key Performance Indicators for the manufacturing facility and adjusting or implementing lean manufacturing and quality processes and systems. This includes leveraging ITW Toolbox methodologies such as 80/20, PLS, In-Lining, MRD, and other related world-class manufacturing improvement techniques to achieve optimum operational excellence and P&L improvement. The role requires leading, directing, and managing all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility, as well as implementing strategic initiatives driven by the Division to align team-based processes that enhance operational performance and continuous improvement. Additionally, the position ensures the effective utilization of human resource talent within the organizational structure and champions the ITW Leadership Development framework, focusing on developing talent within the business and identifying key leaders for future roles. The role also involves analyzing and managing the facility's financial performance, implementing policies and procedures that support and drive the annual plan and long-range plan (LRP). Proactively directing the resolution of operational, quality, and maintenance issues is essential to ensure effective management of costs and prevention of operational delays. The candidate must foster, communicate, and exemplify the values of ITW, acting with integrity and trust, operating with simplicity, treating everyone with respect, and taking shared risks. Finally, the role includes actively analyzing productivity and capacity utilization, including outside processing.
