Nice To Haves

  • Previous Production Manager or Plant Manager experience preferred
  • Experience in extrusion, twisting, heat‑set, or related textile/fiber manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive results through continual improvement of plant operations: safety, quality, cost, service, efficiency and equipment reliability
  • Lead the creation and implementation of strategy to accomplish long-range goals supporting Shaw's business outcomes; ensure the strategic plan is understood and translated into action for all production managers, staff and associates through compelling communication, goal alignment and performance management
  • Assure customer relationships are positively maintained through open communication and customer satisfaction needs are met with on-time and quality products
  • Proven record of recruiting, developing and retaining talent to ensure consistent performance in operations key metrics
  • Proven record of creating an environment that fosters teamwork, innovation and relentless pursuit of improvement
  • Ensure plant leadership team accountability to provide regular performance feedback, coaching and development
  • Represents Shaw Industries in the community and promotes organizations goodwill and support of the local community
  • Ensure a safe work environment for all associates and visitors to work and all safety procedures are followed - Ensure all applicable requirements for environmental compliance are met
  • Demonstrated ability to manage operational P&L (or POVA) responsibilities.
  • Strong track record of meeting and exceeding key performance metrics aligned with short‑ and long‑term operational goals.
  • Successful leadership of multiple manufacturing processes and shifts, including planning, organizing, prioritizing, and execution.
  • Demonstrated success in creating a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Experience leading positive organizational change and navigating complex operational challenges.
