About The Position

Plant Manager - Manufacturing Industry Charlotte, NC | On-Site Our client, a busy production facility, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead plant operations, coordinate teams, and ensure the smooth, efficient, and compliant operation of manufacturing processes. This hands-on role involves overseeing production, quality, logistics, and staff development while driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years in plant or manufacturing management, preferably in a regulated production setting
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage both people and processes
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks and operational best practices
• Proficient in ERP systems and operational reporting tools

Nice To Haves

• Experience in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma preferred

Responsibilities

• Direct all day-to-day plant functions, including production, quality control, safety, and maintenance
• Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of supervisors, technicians, and operators
• Maintain operational compliance with industry safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Improve processes, SOPs, and training to support growth and efficiency
• Plan production schedules and coordinate raw material supply in alignment with operational goals
• Track performance metrics and lead targeted improvement initiatives
• Manage budgets, oversee equipment care, and guide capital project planning
