About The Position

Martin Marietta is looking for a Plant Manager to lead operations at our Ferguson Quarry. This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll oversee safety, production, quality, and community relations — ensuring that the quarry continues to supply the essential materials that build Iowa’s future. 7+ years of related experience
Knowledge of MSHA regulations

Responsibilities

Lead safety programs and training, promoting Martin Marietta’s Guardian Angel culture.
Responsible for leading the safety, health, environmental programs, guidelines and policies.
Lead and develop salary and hourly workforce to create teamwork and drive a safe and productive environment.
Ensure compliance with company, local, state and federal rules and regulations.
Leads operations to established production, safety, and environmental objectives and metrics.
Responsible for the planning and scheduling of plant activities to include scheduling, production and training activities.
Complete daily production, safety and maintenance reports accurately.
Responsible for maintaining quality of all products.
Maintain housekeeping and appearance standards as established.
Assist with equipment repairs and housekeeping as needed.
Manage multiple tasks and prioritizing for production needs
Perform all activities in accordance with the Company’s Mission, Vision and Values, and in compliance with the Company’s policies, procedures and Code of Ethical Business Conduct.
