The Plant Manager will actively analyze Key Performance Indicators for the manufacturing facility and adjust/implement lean manufacturing and quality processes and systems leveraging ITW Toolbox - 80/20, PLS, In-Lining, MRD and other related world class manufacturing improvement techniques/framework to produce optimum operational excellence and P&L improvement. The role involves leading, directing, and managing all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility. Depending on the scope, complexity, and size of the business, the plant manager may be required to act as Site Leader or convener for all non-operational functions on site, which may include corporate and regional functions for engineering, IT, finance, and human resources that may reside on site.

  • Analyze Key Performance Indicators for the manufacturing facility.
  • Adjust and implement lean manufacturing and quality processes and systems.
  • Lead, direct, and manage day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility.
  • Act as Site Leader or convener for non-operational functions on site as needed.
  • Implement strategic initiatives driven by the Division to drive operational performance and continuous improvement.
  • Utilize human resource talent within the organization and champion the ITW Leadership Development framework.
  • Analyze and manage the facility's financial performance.
  • Direct the resolution of operational, quality, and maintenance issues.
  • Foster, communicate, and exemplify the values of ITW.
  • Analyze productivity and capacity utilization, including outside processing.
  • Maximize safety conditions within manufacturing operations.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing management or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and quality processes.
  • Ability to analyze financial performance and implement effective policies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with ITW Toolbox and related manufacturing improvement techniques.
  • Background in engineering, IT, finance, or human resources.
  • Competitive salary range of $94,500 - $157,500.
