About The Position

As Plant Manager, you will serve as the pivotal force driving leadership excellence within the organization. You will provide visionary guidance and strategic direction, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high-performance among diverse teams. The Plant Manager is responsible for managing all activities within a single plant including production, quality, logistics, technical service, HSE and maintenance. You will contribute to, and execute functional strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience in Business Administration, Economics, Sciences, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 years relevant experience in the role of manufacturing plant management.
  • Experience managing cross functional projects, multi-cultural environments.
  • Extensive experience in leading and developing teams.
  • Experience in continuous Improvement concepts i.e. Lean and Pull flow.

  • Develop and articulate a compelling vision for the organization, aligning it with long-term strategic goals.

  • Understand and execute functional strategies for all PSOs.
  • Cultivate a leadership pipeline by identifying, nurturing, and developing high-potential individuals within the organization.
  • Implement robust leadership training programs to enhance managerial skills, foster innovation, and promote a culture of continuous learning.
  • Empower and inspire teams by providing clear direction, fostering a collaborative environment, and encouraging ownership of responsibilities.

  • Foster a culture of compliance and ethical behavior at all levels.
  • Establish the operating budget, approve investments and monitor the cost and effectiveness of the production activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities, implement and sustain production basics to achieve the required benchmarking results in safety, quality, delivery and cost.
  • Sustain and implement a Quality Management System by developing and enforcing local quality assurance strategies.
  • Ensure efficient logistics operations including logistics planning, transport logistics and production logistics.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of all technical equipment in the plant to facilitate a smooth production process.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory HSE standards to protect employees and environment.
  • Ensure the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed.
