About The Position

The Plant Manager will lead the production organizations at the Parsippany factory, focusing on achieving customer requirements for safety, quality, delivery, and cost. This role emphasizes operational excellence and Lean transformation while fostering a culture of inclusion and continuous improvement within the Gas Power Supply Chain organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing with at least 5 years of progressive leadership experience.

  • Strong knowledge in manufacturing management disciplines such as production and inventory control, quality systems, and cost systems.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing daily management systems.
  • Experience leading manufacturing operations with a Lean mindset and applying Lean tools to improve operations.
  • Ability to collaborate and lead cross-functionally, influencing across a matrix organization.
  • Strong communication and analytical abilities to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the establishment and attainment of plant goals in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC).
  • Influence, coach, and motivate staff leaders to guide production and support organizations for optimal operations.
  • Collaborate with customers and cross-functional leaders to meet production requirements and achieve business outcomes.
  • Establish site culture and priorities focused on business execution and effective employee communication.
  • Influence the Lean roadmap for the facility and integrate lean principles into operations.
  • Leverage budgeting, forecasting, and SI&OP rhythms to align scheduling, capacity, and headcount for plant success.
  • Promote a working environment that encourages employee involvement to achieve excellence in SQDC and compliance.
