About The Position
As a Senior Operations Staff member, the General Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the daily operations and strategy deployment at the facility. This includes being the senior staff member on-site providing local leadership to a cross-functional team, managing production, quality, safety, cost controls, driving productivity and the development and implementation of the manufacturing strategy and innovation plan in alignment with the business unit strategy while meeting production goals, budget constraints, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The General Plant Manager actively collaborates with the global cross-functional leaders in a matrixed organization ensuring the plant operates smoothly while driving the cross-functional business and operations strategies to achieve breakthrough objectives.
