As the Plant Manager for our LW Allen brand, you will be responsible for building and leading the day-to-day operations for our Pump distribution team at our Madison, WI facility. This role requires you to provide positive leadership and oversight in accordance with corporate objectives to assure maximum efficiency of sales, personnel, facilities, capital, and equipment to meet and exceed our customer expectations. Your primary role will involve creating unity through customer interaction, field service planning, and scheduling, while also providing positive leadership and support to the Territory Sales Engineer, Supply Chain, Field Service, and Operations Support teams. You will promote humility by encouraging and empowering team members to work together to meet established goals. Agility is key in this role, as you will need to make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement and drive our sales channel management strategy and value creation plan initiatives. You will take ownership of operational and financial planning execution by meeting or exceeding divisional metrics focused on budget, safety, and quality. In your first year, your goals will include conducting an organizational assessment, delivering on the P&L, and creating operational short and long-term strategies tied to SJE's value creation plan. You will be expected to create budgets and forecasts for bookings, revenue, margins, expenses, and EBITDA, and report to upper management on performance during weekly and quarterly meetings. Additionally, you will develop growth plans and support the performance management process for all division employees. Leading the sales team will involve maintaining and improving margins, product training, new hire training, order negotiation, bid strategy, and problem resolution. You will also oversee project management and purchasing teams, including purchasing and billing oversight, customer service, parts sales, inventory management, and training. Leadership of the service team will include assisting with hiring, coordinating factory training for technicians, planning for service vehicle replacements, monitoring tools and equipment spending, evaluating performance, and tracking warranty costs. Furthermore, you will oversee vendor management, including problem resolution, price negotiation, new product representation, forecasting, meeting quotas and goals, establishing marketing plans, facilitating customer and sales training, and coordinating factory training for service technicians.
