SUMMARY The Plant Manager is responsible for providing strategic and hands-on leadership for the daily operation of the manufacturing facility. This role ensures that plant operations meet or exceed safety, quality, cost, and delivery expectations while supporting broader organizational goals and cultural commitments. The Plant Manager will direct subordinate supervisors, collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and profitability. Working in the MedTech Solutions segment within Healthcare, this position plays a critical role in executing the organization’s operational excellence and continuous improvement strategies, and ensuring the plant contributes to meeting P&L targets. The successful candidate will manage site operations teams.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee daily production operations to ensure alignment with plant objectives, company philosophy, and regulatory requirements. Drive operational efficiency by monitoring actual vs. planned performance and implementing corrective actions where needed. Direct production activities to meet customer demands at maximum efficiency and minimum cost. Develop action plans for optimized utilization of employees, equipment, and materials. Identify manufacturing opportunities, bottlenecks and synergies. Provide recommendations and solutions including financial analysis and basic modeling. Lead and enforce plant-wide safety initiatives, ensuring adherence to all regulatory and company safety standards. Address quality issues promptly and support the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. Participate in the development of annual budgets, long-term planning, and operational strategy in collaboration with Head of Operations and MTS Finance team. Drive P&L performance by evaluating production costs, inventory, and quality results; recommend improvements to enhance profitability. Actively participate in continuous improvement (CIP/OPEX) initiatives to reduce cost, streamline operations, and enhance product and process performance. Support harmonization of manufacturing systems, including MOS, SIOP, QMS, maintenance systems, and cross-site best practice sharing. Lead, mentor, and develop supervisors and staff across Production, Maintenance, Warehouse, Quality, and other assigned departments. Work closely with Technical Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, HR, and other functional leaders to achieve plant and organizational goals. Ensure manufacturing policies align with supply chain needs regarding inventory levels, OTIF, and supplier variability. Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork in alignment with HR and company values. Communicate effectively across the organization to ensure consistent dissemination of operational information and expectations. Requirements

  • 5+ years of operational and manufacturing leadership experience, ideally within medical devices or a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field required
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, operational execution, and leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success developing high-performing teams and driving organizational alignment and Operational Excellence.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including experience evaluating operational data.
  • Ability to formulate, implement, and refine operational strategies and procedures.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical information, operational KPIs, and production metrics.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environment and navigate multiple competing priorities.

Responsibilities
