Eaton's Electrical Sector- Power Components Division (PCD) is currently seeking a Plant Manager. This position is based in our Beaver, PA facility and closely located to our Electrical Sector Headquarters in Moon Township, PA. Relocation is offered for this position. This is a highly visible Plant Manager role reporting to the Director of Operations, PCD and will have significant exposure to numerous internal and external stakeholders. This critical role for our business leads and manages all resources in the Beaver, PA manufacturing facility (along with two small satellite facilities) and assures that the operation is working profitably to provide products that consistently meet or exceed expectations in terms of quality, and delivery while maximizing the return on assets. The Beaver Plant operation is a manufacturer of Electrical products predominantly circuit breakers with approximately 430 employees. You will plan, organize, and direct the plant site functions to successfully meet both short and long-term business objectives. These include management of Environment Safety, and Health, Quality Assurance, Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Materials Planning, Human Resources, Order Negotiation and Support, Business Systems, Technical Services, and Product Manufacturing & Assembly. Eaton is in the process of changing our structure so plants will operate as a cost center in a future state. This change is being made to re-align responsibilities/accountability so the plant manager can focus on key operational processes and metrics. While this change is beginning, we maintain there are few roles better than this one for someone to step into and grow their career! The plant manager must embrace corporate, group, and division processes including but not limited to our Eaton Business System (EBS), Management of Environment Safety and Health (MESH), Eaton Quality System (EQS), Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP), and driving the workforce to be Future Ready. The plant manager will leverage resources to maintain and grow a high performing, engaging salary workforce. This person will also provide leadership to all functional and service groups to meet customer requirements, and drive performance to achieve or exceed operational plans and strategic goals.
