About The Position

The Plant Manager for Asphalt in Euless, Texas, is responsible for overseeing all operations of the asphalt production plant. This includes managing staff, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and maintaining efficient plant operations. The role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in the paving and construction industry.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in a management role within the Asphalt Production Industry.
• Experience with project management in highways, subdivisions, shopping malls, and commercial facilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook).
• Familiarity with collaboration software such as Slack and construction software like XBE and Spectrum.
• Technical skills in planning, scheduling, and project management.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with digital record-keeping software like Laserfiche.
• Knowledge of equipment used in heavy highway jobs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all processing plant responsibilities including administration, control, direction, and supervision.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations (OSHA, MSHA).
• Manage plant operations, safety, maintenance, and repair.
• Supervise direct reports including Plant Foremen, Plant Groundmen, Plant Loader Operators, Crusher Operator, and Crusher Loader Operators.
• Plan and schedule projects, ensuring timely completion and resource allocation.
• Forecast and plan operations up to a month in advance.
