About The Position
As a Plant Maintenance Mechanic for Ground Service Equipment at American Airlines, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations. Additionally, you will assist in the storage, removal, and clean-up of hazardous waste, ensuring that all work-related paperwork is completed accurately and on time. Your role will also involve general functions that are essential to the operation of the facility. This includes performing Foreign Object Debris (FOD) walks, coordinating with vendors, and explaining work procedures to other personnel. You will be expected to maintain a clean work area and report to your position on time, adhering to safety procedures and government regulations. The ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions is essential, as is the willingness to work extra hours when operational needs arise.
