Requirements

  • Completion of apprenticeship or electrical trade school education.
  • Working knowledge of 480, 277, 110, and 24 volt systems, motor controls, and variable speed drives.
  • 3 years of industrial electrician experience troubleshooting, repairing, and installing electrical control equipment.
  • Ability to assist in all areas of maintenance and production.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive motions.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years of industrial mechanic experience troubleshooting, repairing, and installing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Certified Electrician certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties in a safe manner as a Maintenance Electrician.
  • Complete preventive maintenance on plant equipment, programmable controllers, transformers, and machinery wiring.
  • Install new equipment according to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctioning electrical systems and equipment.
  • Program automated machinery and verify repairs to programmable controllers.
  • Monitor and fulfill work orders efficiently and timely.
  • Prioritize tasks and respond to urgent maintenance requests.
  • Train other maintenance personnel and assist in maintaining electrical spare parts inventory.
  • Attend educational workshops to build technical knowledge and suggest new processes.
