About The Position

The Plant Maintenance Coordinator (Technician IV) position at the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is responsible for managing and supporting various maintenance programs and systems within Region 3. This role involves analyzing and resolving issues related to work orders, training personnel on software applications, and ensuring data consistency across maintenance operations. The coordinator will also assist in environmental compliance and reporting, while providing backup support during roadway emergencies.

Requirements

  • At least four years of full-time work experience with computer software and applications (e.g., MS Excel, SAP, Google Applications).
  • Experience using software to track large volumes of data.
  • Ability to apply rules and procedures for data entry, quality assurance, analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the SAP Plant Maintenance module.
  • Ensure consistency of data collection methods and proper operations of the system across regions.
  • Serve as the Maintenance Levels of Service (MLOS) Coordinator.
  • Monitor total expenditures for maintenance activities and programs.
  • Create and input Purchase Orders into the SRM system.
  • Maintain current information on door security locks and employee badging.
  • Create formatted reports adhering to CDOT's design specifications.
  • Develop statewide and section-level ad hoc and annual reports.
  • Create queries, table joins, dashboards, and scripts for report production.
  • Process requested reports for all maintenance activities.
  • Prepare regional reports for various stakeholders including the RTD and Maintenance Superintendent.
  • Train Section 6 employees on multiple programs and systems.
  • Act as a contact for CDOT management on environmental and permit issues.
  • Track the Region's yearly plan of controlled and deferred maintenance funds.
  • Assist with compliance and operational issues related to the Noxious Weed Program.
