Plant Maint Mechanic I
About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment to support safe and reliable operations. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and identify effective solutions to minimize downtime. Install, repair, and maintain machinery such as conveyors, pumps, motors, and crushers. Conduct routine inspections and document equipment condition and repair needs. Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.
Requirements
- Demonstrated capability in troubleshooting and repairing industrial mechanical systems.
- Proficiency with tools and equipment used in mechanical maintenance and fabrication.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
- Commitment to working safely and following established procedures.
- Capacity to work both independently and within a team to complete tasks efficiently.
