About The Position

The Plant Logistics Manager is responsible for the overall strategy, planning, and execution of the supply chain functions in Lincolnton plant and will manage the planning (LOP), material (LOM) and information flow (LOI) teams. This role is essential for developing and executing innovative supply chain strategies that optimize inventory management, production planning, and logistics. The Plant Logistics Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operations with business objectives, enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving customer service level. This role represents plant logistics on BU and PT level.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Supply Chain Management with 8+ years of experience.
• System and shop floor proficiency in designing (lean) logistic processes.
• Leadership and communication skills.
• Experiences in (strategic) supply chain management.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft office.
• Web application and SQL experience.
• Experiences in project management.

Responsibilities

• Defining a logistics strategy for the plant and deriving work packages for the associates.
• Manage and mentor logistics teams, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and resources to succeed.
• Establish and monitor Logistics KPIs (SCC Source/Make, Plant Service Level, nFG Inventory) to assess logistics performance.
• Ensures application of PT procedures/processes to meet industry standards and implement best practices and innovative solutions to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness in logistics operations.
