About The Position

The Plant Logistics Leader is responsible for overseeing the logistics function and related activities in the Hidden Valley Ranch Manufacturing Plant. They will manage daily operations within the plant's logistics function, ensuring efficient material flow and storage, coordinating with production schedules, and maintaining cost-effective operations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain and/or logistics
  • 2+ years of leadership experience, ensuring that goals are clearly understood, feedback is effectively conveyed, and any issues are promptly addressed.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP EWM, SAP S/4HANA, MES or another Warehouse Management System. Emphasis on SAP EWM and S/4HANA
  • BS/BA Degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations and/or equivalent work experience in a manufacturing environment
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in inventory management, shipping and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in email communication, preparing presentations
  • Strong understanding of plant working capital, working with the materials team to manage it effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate activities related to the handling, storage, and distribution of materials and products in plants.
  • Work with the BU Material & Scheduling Management team to ensure scheduling, replenishment, and material management activities for the plant are complete.
  • Offer input to the BU MSM team regarding scheduling information.
  • Manage finished goods and HALB inventory, as well as inbound and outbound shipping, receiving, and transportation activities according to the delivery schedule.
  • Oversee warehousing procedures, provide technical support on material handling, storage, usage, and equipment performance, and manage the Plant Materials Management team, including Shift Leads and Material Handlers.
  • Support all three shifts and handle emergencies as they arise.
