Requirements

  • Possess a High School Diploma as a minimum requirement, and/or an Associate degree (preferred), with a blend of professional experience that ensure success in the role
  • Have 2+ years’ experience supporting manufacturing industries, in Production and Maintenance. (Chemical and Automotive experience preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Providing general administrative support for the plant and plant manager
  • Creating and managing purchase requisitions across departments (Production, Maintenance, Inspection, Tolling, Quality, Shipping, Supply Chain, Sales/Engineering), handling over $1M in annual purchases
  • Investigating invoice issues and processing workflows in SAP to ensure timely vendor payments
  • Coordinating cost center and GL allocations with the plant accountant
  • Serving as main contact for critical suppliers (dry ice, liquid nitrogen, propane, PPE)
  • Coordinating urgent plant needs with on-site labor services
  • Maintaining consumable inventories (water, coffee, office supplies), reviewing weekly stock against min/max levels, and placing orders
  • Processing PROMPT requests for mold repairs and inspection gauges
  • Assisting with recording retention documentation (bills of lading, packing lists)
  • Managing work notifications and backlogs by priority and ensuring sufficiently detailed scopes
  • Creating daily maintenance schedules in Excel and SAP
  • Monitoring and closing out PMs
  • Creating, uploading, and tracking vendor quotes for maintenance supplies and services
  • Ensuring signatures and properly filing plant documents, including safety device (PSV) calibration and maintenance records
  • Coordinating supplies and services for maintenance work
