The Plant IV Curing Setup Tech will set up and make mold changes for Passenger Truck Tire Curing Presses. Responsibilities include the removal and installation of all bladders, cleaning and drilling venting in molds, making minor adjustments to presses as needed, and assisting in spraying and loading of Passenger Tire Presses. The role requires the ability to make mold and bladder changes, install recipes, build and tear down bladders, clean molds in press, and maintain data input. The tech must also perform minor mechanical adjustments and emergency repairs, chase scrap, conduct first tire and bag checks, and perform audits on squeeze cycles, cure cycles, and temperatures. Following all plant policies, environmental policies, and safety policies is essential. The tech must be certified to operate a Forklift and effectively communicate with other setup techs, curing supervision, and press operators. The position involves maintaining quality and quantity production while keeping work areas neat and orderly.
