The successful candidate will be responsible for developing tailored plant health care programs to maintain the beauty of their clients' landscapes.

Requirements

A strong aptitude for learning is essential.
Excellent communication skills and a reliable, detail-oriented work ethic are a must.
Possession of a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain DOT certification.
The ability to obtain a state pesticide applicator license (KS 3A/3B or MO 3) within the first three months of employment.
Physical capability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in horticulture or a related field is a plus.
A degree in horticulture or agricultural sciences is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive on-site evaluations to accurately diagnose plant health issues, including the identification of common pests and diseases.
Apply preventative and corrective plant protectant treatments as part of an Integrated Pest Management strategy.
Communicate professional recommendations and service details effectively to clients.
Consistently deliver high-quality results by effectively collaborating with a team while also having the ability to work autonomously.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of plant identification, common diseases, and insect pests.
