About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Plant Finance Leader. What you’ll do: Primary Function: This position provides financial leadership to the manufacturing location, serving as a business partner and as a change agent to drive plant continuous improvement actions and to achieve overall plant targets. This role connects finance processes with operations, providing guidance, drive actions, and financial insights to ensure operational strategies and decisions will lead to the expected results. #Li-SL4 Essential Functions: • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and performance metrics related to the operations to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Drives accountability for results and defining key performance metrics together with business leaders. • Decision Support: Provide financial insights and analysis to support operational decision-making, such as evaluating capital deployment opportunities or new projects. • Driving initiatives (including CAPEX and WORKING CAPITAL) and influence changes: ensure productivity improvements and growth in areas such as operational excellence, continuous improvement, quality, and supply chain management. • Collaborative Planning: Work closely with the operations team to develop action plans, strategies, and initiatives based on financial insights. Drive and monitor the implementation of the plans. • Financial Modeling: Create financial models to assess the impact of various scenarios on operational performance. • Risk Management: Identify financial risks within the operations and propose mitigation strategies. • Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to evaluate performance against targets. • Cost Management: Monitor and manage operational costs to achieve efficiency and cost-reduction while maintaining quality. • Inventory Management: Implement Inventory control actions and initiatives to maximize operational profitability while maximizing cash. • Talent Management: Builds organizational capability through successful hiring, talent development, and succession planning in the business. • Forecasting: lead the main financial processes for the site, such forecasts and profit plan. • Cost Accounting: Analyze and interpret financial data related to the costs incurred by a company during its operations with the primary objective to provide valuable insights to management, enabling them to make informed decisions regarding cost efficiency, pricing strategies, and overall financial performance. Managerial / Supervisory Responsibilities: • Finance Leadership Development Participant: accounting and finance trainee. • Inventory Control: responsible on behalf of monitoring the inventory validation, conductive physical inventory activities and monitor all inventory movements. • Cost Analyst: responsible of cost structure of the plant, creation of standard costs and all direct costing initiatives. • Accounting Manager: responsible of the management of the balance sheet, forecasting process and month end reporting. Administer budget accounts and supervision of accounting personnel. Qualifications: Specialized Knowledge: o Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. o Minimum Experience: o Five (5) – eight (8) years varied accounting/finance experience. Two (2) years of data analytics experience is preferred. Skills: o Required Skills: o Strong financial acumen and business partnering skills o Ability to understand and communicate financial concepts to non-financial professionals o Detail-oriented with effective organization and time management skills o Highly motivated, highly analytical and self-starter o CHANGE AGENT; ability to lead through significant change Additional Information: Major or Unusual Problems: Fast paced manufacturing operation with dynamic customer orders that supplies the world with product manufactured in the Caribbean with a low percentage of local suppliers. External Contacts: Interface with auditors, customers, other departments, taxes and government. Daily interaction with Senior Leadership at the division level and division. Principal Accountabilities: • Responsible for proper handling of company funds within Eaton Ethics Principles. • Reduces or avoid unnecessary assets for maximization of cash flow return on investment. • Responsible for safe storage of corporate ledgers, valuable papers and safeguarding of assets. • Accuracy of breaker costs. • Determines proper control techniques to accurately reflect plant operation in accordance with generally accepted procedures. • Establishes workload schedule for own function and coordinate work of subordinates. • Provides cost information for pricing structure decisions. • Surveys arms-length relationship on prices with divisions • Alert Plant Manager and Finance Functional Manager of any major gap found in the book. Guidance received: Under direction where definite objectives are established; plans and arranges own work, referring only unusual cases to supervisor or others. (Mandatory Rules in Health and Security) • Providing the necessary training to all employees. • Attending security trainings as required. • Taking disciplinary action in case of violation to the rules of health and security of the plant. • Being attentive to the prevention of accidents in your area. Requirements
