About The Position

Schneider Electric has an onsite opportunity for a Plant Finance Controller in Red Oak, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for a blend of Project Controlling and Plant Controlling activities. You will be responsible for providing cost control for end-to-end project execution in Prefab business in NAM with special attention to plant performance. You will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of Key Internal Controls, good communication and the ability to provide valuable insights and recommendations. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • Proven experience in Project Controlling, Plant Controlling, or similar roles
  • Strong proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial management systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Oracle ERP knowledge a plus.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CMA, CPA) a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform financial analysis and monitoring for various projects and plant operations.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures.
  • Analyze project and plant performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with project managers and plant management to provide financial guidance and support.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for deviations from budgets and forecasts.
  • Contribute to the development of financial reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Participate in financial planning and strategic decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and key internal controls.
