About The Position

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:Coordinating and expediting the flow of product for all Vendor Managed Inventory and responsible areas. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reviews and examines documents, materials, product, production schedules, work orders and monitor work processes, in order to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.Confer with department supervisors and other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes.Revise production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, sa quality, production, and engineering.Confer with establishment personnel and primary customers to coordinate production and shipping activities, and to resolve complaints or eliminate delays.Record production data, including volume produced according to customer usage and interfaces with customer service.Compiles daily progress information, such as production rates and progress, finished goods inventories and customer information, so that status reports can be completed for contract customers. Reviews and communicates schedules and prepares status reports. Assist operations management by creating and compiling various reports, such as dispatch reports, depreciation reports, ageing backlog. Other duties may be assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory duties. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
