About The Position
The position involves providing technical expertise and guidance in the resolution and prevention of equipment problems within a power plant setting. The role includes leading or participating in plant Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA) processes to ensure that corrective actions, repairs, or modifications are executed appropriately and in a timely manner. The individual will work closely with Maintenance and Operations personnel to evaluate and resolve equipment issues, perform periodic maintenance and troubleshooting of the facility's instrument and control equipment, and provide comprehensive power plant performance leadership and support. This includes analyzing, monitoring, and reporting on plant and system performance through operational and maintenance data assessment. The role also involves developing or reviewing Planned Maintenance (PM) activities on all control systems, directing contractor activities for compliance with specifications, troubleshooting plant issues, and writing project scopes and material specifications. Additionally, the individual will provide budgetary support for assigned projects.
