  • Prepare plans necessary for the design, purchase, installation, qualification, & modification of assets specific to our building and utility infrastructure systems.
  • Recommend capital investments driven by equipment performance and business need, and drive the commissioning, qualification, and validation of all associated equipment, utility or building projects.
  • Prepare project drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with OSHA, other federal, state, local, 3rd party, and internal regulations.
  • Communicate project status and results to business stakeholders.
  • Work with peers, Reliability Engineers, DE, CI Leader, Value Stream Managers, Supervisors, ME’s, and Techs, to ensure that projects are aligned with business and departmental objectives.
  • Comply with the management of change policy (MOC) for all changes associated with projects, ensuring all relevant documentation and communication to stakeholders is generated, updated, and maintained.
  • Assist in performing and participate in Failure Mode Effects & Criticality Analysis (FMECA) and/or Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) to aid in the design of reliable Equipment and Systems.
  • Assist in the development of asset maintenance plans, and work with internal tradesmen or 3rd party contractors, ensuring that work is completed in a timely manner consistent with quality requirements.
  • Assist in the development of operating procedures, work instructions, and provide technical support or assist in the training of Operations and Maintenance personnel.
  • Ability to travel domestic/international (for two weeks at a time) up to 25%.
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred. Chemical or Industrial is acceptable.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with industrial buildings, utilities, and equipment.
  • Previous experience managing capital projects involving equipment, facility installations, modifications, and construction.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar design software.
  • Ability to effectively partner and coordinate work across multiple functions.
  • Strong communications and collaboration skills.
  • Secondary training and certifications for LEED OM and/or Project Management.
