The position involves installing, maintaining, calibrating, adjusting, troubleshooting, and repairing treatment plant instrumentation, telemetering, and electrical systems. This includes working with various electrical components such as electric motors, variable frequency drives, switches, gauges, solenoids, relays, control panels, motor control centers, flow meters, transmitters, transducers, and level control systems. The role requires conducting electric and electronic tests, installing conduit and wire, and maintaining an electrical, electronic, and instrumentation repair shop. The technician will collaborate with Operators, Maintenance Specialists, and other staff on various plant equipment and facilities. Responsibilities also include installing electrical equipment and systems, performing preventative maintenance, conducting routine inspections, reading blueprints, and keeping work areas organized.
