About The Position

Join our team in Berea, OH as a Plant Electrical Maintenance Specialist, where you’ll keep our facility running safely and efficiently. You’ll blend hands-on troubleshooting with preventive care to protect uptime, support production, and maintain compliance with electrical codes and safety standards. A Day in the Life Start with routine inspections and preventive maintenance across plant electrical systems to catch issues early. Diagnose problems in machinery and equipment, tracing faults through circuits and components. Execute repairs and replace electrical parts to restore equipment performance. Document maintenance actions, findings, and repairs with accuracy and detail. Partner closely with fellow maintenance professionals to support overall facility operations. Assist with installing new electrical equipment and systems as we upgrade and expand. Respond quickly to electrical outages and emergencies to minimize downtime. Work to the letter of electrical codes and safety protocols on every task.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience as an electrician, ideally within a maintenance environment
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and safety practices
  • Skill reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Sharp problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including on-call shifts when needed

Nice To Haves

  • Technical training or certification in electrical maintenance
  • Valid electrician’s license is a plus
