Requirements

  • CPG manufacturing leadership background with TPM, 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma exposure.
  • Strong communicator and coach; analytical problem solver and team builder.
  • Engineering professional with financial acumen, project management capability, and knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechatronic/Electronic).
  • Allen‑Bradley PLCs with RSLogix proficiency.
  • Familiarity with DCS and server/client systems.
  • Industrial power and control circuits; industrial instrumentation.
  • Industrial networks (Fieldbus, Ethernet, ControlNet).
  • AC & DC drives (Allen‑Bradley and Toshiba).
  • Ability to interpret schematics and electrical drawings; expert troubleshooting.
  • Effective independently in a demanding environment; excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Comfort working with vendors, operators, team leads, and maintenance trades.
  • English / Spanish required.

Nice To Haves

  • Oregon electrical license preferred.
  • Food industry experience; experience with Mondelēz projects preferred.
  • Maintenance background strongly preferred; technical supervision experience.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership & Training Coach and upskill the electrical team in PLC (Allen‑Bradley/RSLogix) and DCS (Foxboro) technologies; cascade knowledge to the broader maintenance group. Maintain current technical documentation, standards, and resources for electrical/controls maintenance.
  • Reliability & Maintenance Excellence Design and execute preventive maintenance schedules for electrical, instrumentation, and control assets. Implement inspection plans to secure and sustain the electrical distribution infrastructure. Provide shift coverage and on-call technical support; guide electricians and contractors.
  • Compliance, Safety & Governance Ensure adherence to OSHA and all Federal, State, and Local safety, health, and environmental regulations. Drive safe installations via sound design, protection systems, procedures, and training. Partner with the site Safety Manager on electrical safety, energy reduction, power distribution, and compliance topics. Lead performance reviews and continuous improvement with a zero-loss mindset; benchmark against internal and external best practices.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with Production and other departments to resolve electrical/controls issues. Support Engineering on capital projects and identify productivity and reliability improvements.
  • People & Culture Support annual operating plans; coach Line Leaders and communicate KPIs clearly across teams. Build and retain talent; develop technical and behavioral capabilities across the manufacturing organization. Champion corporate standards: Quality, Food Safety & GMP, Health, Safety, Security, Environment, Sustainability, Code of Conduct, operational standards, internal audits, and local legal requirements.
