As the Plant Director at SK Food Group's Tolleson, Arizona facility, you will play a pivotal role in leading and supervising all operational functions within the plant. This position requires a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is eager to tackle challenges head-on. You will be responsible for managing plant operations, which encompass receiving, inventory, warehouse, maintenance, production, sanitation, and shipping. Your leadership will be crucial in establishing best practices across departments to control costs and enhance financial performance. In this role, you will oversee all staff to ensure consistent performance and predictable results. You will regularly review performance metrics and implement improvements where necessary. Collaboration with support departments is essential to drive enhancements in safety, food safety, quality, purchasing, accounting, and human resources. A key aspect of your leadership will be fostering a culture of high performance and accountability, particularly in associate and product safety. You will also facilitate associate engagement, training, and development to maximize safety, quality, and productivity within the plant. Utilizing Continuous Improvement tools will be part of your strategy to enhance overall plant performance. You will provide direct oversight for the operations management team, ensuring strong connections between maintenance systems, production, sanitation, and warehouse operations, while also aligning with safety, finance, quality, and human resources. Additionally, you will develop strategic direction for the local team that complements the broader company goals. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support the plant's operational success.
