What You’ll Do: Champion Safety. Take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards. Weld. Perform large volume pump repair and general pipe fitting. Operate Equipment. Operate a backhoe, skid steer, and manlift. Assist Electricians. Assist a qualified electrician with installation and maintenance of electrical components in water systems. Additional Responsibilities. Other duties as assigned. Travel. This role will be based out of Hanover, PA and travel up to 90%25 of the time to various work sites throughout our division, New York to North Carolina. This role will utilize a company vehicle to be on the road approximately Monday-Friday.

Requirements

  • Education. Must have a high school degree or its equivalent.
  • Functional Knowledge. Must have a general knowledge of plumbing fitting and parts. Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints. Must have welding knowledge.
  • Ready to Drive. Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Flexibility. Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
