About The Position

This position will provide focused support for automation assembly, installation, upgrades, and optimization of automation equipment on the plant floor, and RDC lab. Position will support the training and documentation process though the use of IQ/OQ/PQ data collection procedure.

Requirements

• Proficient in FANUC or ABB robotics programming
• Knowledge of industrial engineering including mechanical installation, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and chilled water systems
• Understanding of basic electrical and mechanical drawings
• Working knowledge of industrial safety regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• General knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience
• 2 years manufacturing or engineering experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Plant Automation team to accelerate the installation of new automation equipment.
• Train manufacturing technical staff on how to operate and maintain automation equipment.
• Work to optimize automation equipment.
• Observe automation equipment to detect hazards, problems, and the need for service; troubleshoots and repairs equipment where possible.
• Evaluates system performance and makes necessary adjustments to equipment.
