About The Position

The Plant 1 PLT 100% Visual Inspector will: The Visual Inspector will be responsible for inspecting tires from the curing presses, verifying each tire is free of basic anomalies, making small repairs or corrections to tires, and directing the tires to the correct palletizing conveyor. Receive and inspect, through the sense of sight, the outside of all white sidewall tires to determine acceptability in accordance with company standards of Quality PLT Final Finish Inspector will follow standard practices and perform all work necessary to promptly and accurately obtain quality and quantity production, follow plant Safety policies, Plant policies, Environmental policies, and keep work areas neat, clean, and orderly. Employee will log into system, then pass tires (both acceptable and irregular) into their next process, maintaining an even flow of production. Notify supervisor immediately when a major breakdown occurs Be able to do understand the operation and do minor resets associated with the white sidewall protective paint application process. Perform assigned jobs in a safe manner, keeping the work area clean and orderly. Cooperate and communicate with supervisors by reporting all pertinent information and problems. Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor and or Department Manager. Perform minor rework of sidewall dust or unpainted tires Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
