Markon is seeking a Plans and Budget Officer to support an intelligence customer. This role involves providing strategic and programmatic plans and budget support for groups responsible for a high-visibility Special Access Program. The officer will support the groups in formulating, justifying, and defending budget builds, develop and maintain spend plans, reconcile spend plans with actual and planned expenditures, and recommend options to address potential over- or under-utilization of resources. The position requires staying current with all customer and resource management guidance and assisting in creating and maintaining baseline practices and procedures that align with this guidance. The officer will also assist staff in researching and resolving resource and budget issues, prepare supporting documentation for budget exercises, and perform financial trend analyses. This role involves coordinating and responding to budget requirements and collaborating with resource management as required.
