The Planogram Specialist is responsible for creating, maintaining, revising and distributing planograms using Relex Space Planning software. They must work effectively with the Merchandising team to follow the Category Review Process to ensure planograms are created in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • The Planogram Specialist will have a four-year university degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • They must have excellent oral/written communication skills in order to effectively interact with team members.
  • They will have the ability to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines.
  • The Planogram Specialist will have strong time management, organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as being organized and detail oriented.
  • The Planogram Specialist must have the ability to multitask and handle competing priorities at the same time.
  • Additionally, a successful Planogram Specialist must be assertive and flexible as well as have the ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Computer skills in a Microsoft Office Suite as well as the ability to learn company systems and tools are a must.

Nice To Haves

  • Relex Space and/or Floor Planning software experience would be ideal but is not required.

Responsibilities

  • Create, revise and maintain planograms including images
  • Distribute planograms to existing as well as new stores
  • Help to create floorplans for new and existing stores
  • Identify potential space issues and recommend solutions
  • Work with Merchandising team to follow the Category Review Process to maintain the project schedule. Monitor progress, coordinate activities and resolve problems in order to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain the integrity of the planograms
  • Use space planning software to help create shelf labels at store level.
  • Analyze and make recommendations on product placement to support company goals
  • Provide Analytical data analysis to help with store layouts and planogram profitability
  • Provide information and reports to the Merchandising team as needed.
  • Requires hands on product and fixture manipulation
  • Work with buyers and vendors to verify item dimensions
  • Work with Replenishment Buyers to help facilitate ordering/stocking levels
  • All planograms will be created using Relex Space Planning Software
  • Produce images for use in planograms
  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor or company official.
