About The Position

Job: Planning Specialist - Thinset Reports To: Shipping Supervisor/Plant Manager Salary: Starts at $20.50 Shift: 1st shift (9:00 am - 5:30 pm) Requirements Job Summary/Purpose Responsible for coordinating all outgoing shipments and inbound deliveries at the Thinset plant

Requirements

Computer experience including INFOR Including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, Lotus Notes and warehouse systems
Demonstrated skill in organization and communication.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Understand and utilize the INFOR planning system.
Print orders using the INFOR system.
Coordinate Retail shipments
Fulfill completed shipping documentation and verify accurate receiving entries.
Update daily spreadsheets and communication boards in shipping.
Assist with Continuous Improvement Projects.
Verify raw material deliveries
Check in drivers and verify documents
Reserve containers and coordinate shuttle activities
Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory
Track and order shipping office supplies and dunnage, including load bars and airbags
Track KPA inspections to ensure compliance and timely completion.
Ensure that all records and reports regarding activities are prepared on a timely basis and effectively maintained.
Operate in compliance with Company, OSHA and other appropriate standards.
Perform any additional task assigned by management.
Represent Schluter Systems in a professional, positive and enthusiastic manner in all matters.
