About The Position
The Public Health Department is seeking Planning Specialists within the Clinical Services and Administration Divisions. These roles will lead impactful projects, drive innovative solutions, and manage grants in their respective divisions. The Planning Specialist in the Clinical Services Division will facilitate the development of projects and programs and manage and adhere to all requirements related to existing and future awarded grants. The Planning Specialist in the Administration Division will perform a variety of high-level planning functions in support of the department. As part of the Planning and Performance Improvement Team, they will facilitate the development, monitoring and updating of department-wide plans and initiatives such as the strategic plan, community health improvement plan, community health assessment and program specific plans; respond to data requests using internal or external data sources; and evaluate projects and programs.
