About The Position

In the world of private and corporate aviation, downtime isn’t just inconvenient — it’s costly. As the Planning & Scheduling Supervisor for Vista Aircraft Maintenance, you will be the strategic driver of operational efficiency. You’ll lead a team of coordinators to ensure multi‑million‑dollar aircraft move through maintenance with precision and predictability. With a strong focus on safety, regulatory compliance, and on‑time “Return to Service” (RTS) performance, you will orchestrate people, parts, vendors, and processes to deliver seamless maintenance execution. Production Leveling: Track available man‑hours and hangar loading to balance scheduled heavy maintenance with unscheduled AOG events, ensuring optimal manpower utilization. Critical Path Management: Identify and manage the primary drivers of each work scope, anticipating delays in labor, parts, or services to protect RTS commitments. Vendor & Logistics Oversight: Coordinate with external vendors (NDT, paint, upholstery, etc.) to ensure services align precisely with aircraft schedules. Quote Generation: Develop accurate and timely maintenance quotes that reflect the requested scope of work. Pre‑Arrival Coordination: Review work packages, kit parts, and assign specialized tooling and vendor needs ahead of aircraft arrival. Workflow Development: Create and maintain tracking tools such as Gantt charts, calendars, and other visual planning tools to guide maintenance flow. Execution Leadership: Conduct daily stand‑up meetings with your team and maintenance leaders to track progress against established milestones.
