The Planning/Scheduling Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules to support construction and engineering activities. This role involves collaboration with project teams to create detailed work plans, monitor progress against milestones, and identify schedule risks and opportunities.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules using scheduling software, such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

  • Analyze schedule impacts of changes to project scope, resources, or priorities and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Provide recommendations to optimize project schedules, including resource leveling, critical path analysis, and schedule compression.
  • Coordinate with project teams to resolve schedule-related issues and conflicts.
  • Participate in project meetings and reviews to provide schedule updates and recommendations.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Experience working as a planning/scheduling engineer or project controls specialist in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and tools, such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and techniques, including schedule development, resource management, and risk analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
