About The Position
Chevron Phillips Chemical (CPChem) is seeking a Planning Manager to join the Finance team for the Golden Triangle Polymers (GTP) facility located in Orange, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your experience and be part of a team contributing to the design, startup, and operation of a new plant from the ground up. The Planning Manager position is responsible for managing the planning and budgeting process for Golden Triangle Polymers (GTP), developing presentations for board meetings, plant reviews and other special requests, as well as coordinating reporting and other special projects for the Joint Venture. Following startup, the job functions will transition to a more traditional role characterized by normal plant operations. This position reports directly to the GTP Finance Manager but will also support the GTP Plant Manager / Vice President. This position will be assigned to the project location in Orange, TX and will transition to ongoing operations following commissioning and startup with an expected commitment through stable start-up operations.
