Your intern assignment is generally 10-12 weeks, and co-op assignment is generally 16-18 weeks and will include an assigned project and opportunities to present your work.
You will also collaborate on other exciting projects and work with talented peers and inspirational leaders, many of whom began as interns and co-ops themselves.
You will be provided a robust developmental experience through an immersive onboarding and offboarding experience, assigned a mentor, networking opportunities, organized events, activities, and community service /volunteer initiatives.
You will have the opportunity to impact the future of the organization, all the while being exposed to a world-class program community.
Finally, our rising senior interns and co-ops are considered for full-time employment opportunities.
Conduct research, analyze data, and present findings to support engineering projects and process improvements.
Design, development, work instructions using O: drive to replace paper shop packs.
Support data collection and analysis for implementation.
Assist in updating and creating engineering documentation, standard operating procedures, and process flow diagrams.
Collaborate on continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance safety within manufacturing processes.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and other deliverables to communicate project progress and results.
Engage with cross-functional teams including maintenance, production, quality, and safety to drive project success.
Perform other engineering-related duties as assigned.

Minimum 2.5 GPA.
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Industrial Engineering.
Locate candidates pursuing education at University of North Carolina Charlotte or Central Piedmont.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong organization, planning, and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
