Planning Designer - Apprentice (S)
About The Position
Supports the manager/supervisor in coordinating with contractors, preferred service providers, Physical Facilities employees, requestors, and other key stakeholders to define the scope and plans for projects. Assists in the coordination and development of conceptual drawings and presentations from initial idea under the direction of their manager/supervisor. Coordinates and supervises as directed the work of contractors, employees and volunteers as they perform scope and planning documentation and definitions, construction as planned, and administrative work in assigned areas. Helps in preparing and developing working designs and drawings.
Requirements
- Must be proficient in the English language in both oral and written communication.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook (including calendaring), and Teams.
- Must attach resume and current semester schedule (weekly view only).
- All applicants must be available for an on-site interview at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie, HI.
- Must exemplify the university Honor Code, including the Dress and Grooming Principles and Expectations
